Sevak Nazaryan, a contemporary artist, was born on February 19, 1991, in Yerevan, Armenia. His early fascination with painting began before he entered school, where he created abstract forms that he referred to as “formless aliens.” This early exploration of shape and imagination laid the foundation for the distinctive style that defines his work today.
Sevak’s formal artistic education began at Hakob Kojoyan Art School, where he studied from 1998 to 2008. The school focused on painting, and its dedicated teachers placed great emphasis on developing students’ creative vision. For Sevak, nurturing imagination was the most important aspect of art, a value that continues to shape his artistic journey.
In 2012, Sevak graduated from the Armenian State Pedagogical University after Khachatur Abovyan, specializing in Art Education. His academic background, combined with his creative instincts, has allowed him to refine his craft and grow as an artist, earning recognition in the contemporary art scene.
